I have 3 boys (7, 5 and 3 years old now) and expecting the 4th. I used this co-sleeping with the 3 of them, but I sold it, when we thought the 3rd was the last member of the family. I never have any trouble with anyone regarding SIDS. Even the other review said it's not approved (I didn't know that) It really helped my babies get a comfortable position when they were sleeping and it helped up to 12 weeks old, by that week I put them out of my room and in their own crib. Also, it was a great help when breastfeeding, I had c-sections and I didn't have to move a lot, I was so pleased. So, by my experience I'm buying a new one for the 4th member that is arriving on May. But as I said I'm talking by what I have experienced with 3 babies.

We tried to use this when our baby was first born. It works as intended, but our baby didn't like being in it. I also didn't like how far away it put my husband and I from each other. After a few nights of the baby crying as soon as we put him in it until we caved (5-15min later), this became a cat hang out. We got rid of it in favor of having more space in the bed by 4 weeks. The only problem is the husband was not comfortable sleeping next to the baby so he didn't get to sleep next to the baby for a few months. But, I got to snuggle with hubby and the baby at the same time so I was fine.
