We got this bed to take with on visits to the Grandparents and vacations. My 2 year old son has always had a hard time sleeping especially away from home. We thought this bed might make him feel more like he was at home in his toddler bed since it is similar sized. We used it when we went away for the weekend, and my son slept all night on it!! He seemed comfortable on it and fit perfectly. There were no problems with him hitting the bar in the middle. Even when my 4 year old laid on it, he didn't touch the middle bar. This bed will be going everywhere with us from now on!

Bought this item to use at the beach so we don't have to worry about our 3 year old falling out of the bed or having to sleep on the floor. I was very surprised at how well built the cot was and our daughter jumped right on it to try it out. I have looked around at other similiar items and this was by far the best and the price was far below many of the other items. great quality for the price!!
